Housing cover for an electrical machine
The invention relates to a housing cover for an electrical machine with a housing.
In particular, in vehicle electronics, there is often the need to integrate devices with control electronics in a motor, in a transmission or in a pump, etc., to use limited installation space as well as possible and to keep short line paths.
According to the state of the art, devices with circuit electronics are connected via cables to electrical machines.
This approach has in its known form the disadvantageous property that the arrangement is poorly protected against mechanical environmental influences and aging. In particular, in applications in vehicle technology, machines and control electronics are often arranged on a lower or outer side of a vehicle and therefore exposed to influences such as falling rocks, exposure to moisture, water and aggressive substances, etc.
In addition, the connection of equipment via cable requires extensive measures of shielding in order to meet the relevant requirements regarding electromagnetic compatibility, e.g. according to the European standard 61800-3.
From the prior art EP 0 972 318 B1 is known, in which an electrical connection arrangement is described. A conductor carrier is passed through a housing filled with oil. On the conductor carrier an oil-resistant sealing ring is arranged, which seals the conductor carrier relative to a housing wall.
This approach has the disadvantages that the conductor carrier requires an interface for receiving the oil-resistant sealing ring and that the electrical
Connecting arrangement is not completely encapsulated and therefore exposed to environmental influences.
Furthermore, DE 10 2014 203 466 is known. Therein, a housing of a fluid energy machine is specified, wherein a housing cover is described with an integrated seal comprising three elements. In the housing cover two seals are integrated and in a housing shell, a seal is arranged.
This approach has the disadvantageous property of a multi-part and therefore expensive seal assembly.
DE 10 2010 063 874 A1 describes a transmission housing of a transaxle and a housing cover for a transmission housing. In the housing cover designed as a labyrinth seal with multiple chambers seal is integrated.
This approach has the disadvantageous property of a geometrically complex sealing arrangement.
The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a comparison with the prior art improved housing cover.
According to the invention this object is achieved with a housing cover of the type mentioned, in which the housing cover comprises an outer shell of thermoplastic material, in which an inner core is provided thermosetting material in which in the inner core an electrical circuit is embedded, which over an electrical connection element is connectable, and in which the housing cover is shaped such that with it an end opening of the housing of the electrical machine is tightly closed.
The thermoplastic outer shell gives the advantage of high resistance to mechanical stress as well as to the action of moisture, water and aggressive substances.
The inner core of thermosetting material causes due to the well-tunable thermal conductivity of the thermosetting plastic an advantageous dissipation of heat.
Furthermore, the electrical circuit arrangement is well protected against environmental influences due to its embedding in the inner core. Due to the sheathing of the electrical circuit arrangement through the inner core, no sealing element has to be arranged on the circuit arrangement.
In addition, results from the embedding of the
Circuitry in the inner, thermoset core of the advantage of a direct connection of the circuit to the formed in the housing cover, electrical connection element. Because of this advantageous property can be on cables that would have to be shielded consuming to meet the requirements in terms of electromagnetic compatibility, be dispensed with.
Furthermore, the inner, thermoset core forms an advantageous, molecular and thus tight connection with components of the electrical circuit arrangement or a housing of the electrical machine and the outer shell. On a geometrically complex or consisting of several parts seal between the housing cover, the housing and the environment can be omitted. It is advantageous if a bearing seat is formed on the inner core.
Duroplast offers good properties due to its low shrinkage and its small manufacturing tolerances. By this measure, a shaft of the electric machine can be stored directly in the housing cover.
An advantageous solution is achieved when the electric machine is designed as an electric motor and a shaft of the electric motor is mounted in the bearing seat. This measure represents an advantageous application of the housing cover according to the invention to electric motors. It is favorable if the electric motor is designed as an actuator motor for an all-wheel drive arrangement.
An advantageous embodiment is obtained when the electric machine is designed as a pump and a pump shaft is mounted in the bearing seat. It is advantageous if at least one mounting device is formed on the housing cover, via which the housing cover is caulked to the electric machine. This measure results in an immediate and therefore advantageous connection between the housing cover and the electric machine. On cable between the housing cover and the electric machine can be dispensed with.
An advantageous embodiment is obtained when the housing cover is bolted to the electric machine. Also by this measure results in an immediate and therefore advantageous connection between the housing cover and the electric machine. On cable between the housing cover and the electric machine can be dispensed with.
A favorable solution results when the housing cover is connected via a spring-click closure with the electric machine.

The invention will be explained in more detail by means of exemplary embodiments.

Fig. 1 shows an alternative embodiment of a housing cover 1 according to the invention and an electric machine in an exploded view. The machine is designed in this variant as an actuator motor 23 for an all-wheel drive arrangement. Further variants of electrical machines can be combined with the housing cover 1 according to the invention, such as e.g. electric motors in general, oil pumps or water pumps etc.
The housing cover 1 according to the invention is in the embodiment shown of cylindrical shape and comprises a cylindrical outer shell 2 of thermoplastic material and a front side connected to the outer shell 2, cylindrical inner core 3 made of thermosetting material.
In the inner core 3, a cylindrical electrical circuit 4 is embedded. On the electrical circuit arrangement 4 projecting contacting elements 7 are arranged in the circumferential direction in the actuator motor 23, which are connected to a winding 18 of the actuator motor 23.
Furthermore, an electrical connection element 6 is arranged on the front side of the electrical circuit arrangement 4 and projects into a connection region 5 arranged on the outer casing 2. The electrical connection element 6 is designed as a plug. Alternatively, for example, a version as an injected cable is possible.
On the outer surface of the outer shell 2 on the shell side in the circumferential direction mounting means 9 are arranged, with which mounting teeth 12 which are formed on the jacket of a cylindrical metallic housing 11 of the actuator motor 23 in the circumferential direction, caulked and so a positive and non-positive connection between the Housing cover 1 and the housing 11 result.
This results in the advantage of a direct connection between the embedded in the housing cover 1, electrical circuitry 4 and the actuator motor 23, which allows a waiver of cable. The thermoplastic material used to make the outer shell 2 is readily available and therefore can be caulked well with the housing 11.
The housing cover 1 is inserted into the housing 11. It is supported on the housing 11 via a shoulder 27 extending in the circumferential direction and arranged on the outer shell 2. The inner core 3 protrudes into the interior of the housing 11 and adjoins the cylinder jacket-shaped inner contour of the housing 11 with its outer jacket-shaped outer contour. Between the inner contour of the housing 11 and the outer contour of the inner core 3 of the housing cover 1, a cylindrical B-sealing ring 10 is arranged. He lies on a cylindrical housing insert 13, which borders with its shell-side outer contour of the inner contour of the housing 11, on.
On a front side of the inner core 3, a bearing seat 8 is formed. In the bearing seat 8, a rotation sensor, which picks up from a front side attached to a shaft 14 magnetic speed information can be arranged.
The thermoset material used for the production of the inner core 3 offers good properties due to its low shrinkage and its small manufacturing tolerances.
The bearing seat 8 protrudes into the housing 11 of the actuator motor 23 and its longitudinal axis coincides with the longitudinal axis of the actuator motor 23. In the bearing seat 8 is designed as a ball bearing B-bearing 15 is arranged, in which the shaft 14 is mounted. Coaxial with the shaft 14, the following cylindrical elements are arranged in the following order of increasing radius: rotor laminations 16, a rotor magnet 17, the winding 18 and an insulating body 19. On the housing cover 1 opposite end face of the housing, a cylindrical A-bearing plate 20 and designed as a ball bearing A-bearing 21 is arranged. In the course of the manufacturing process of the housing cover 1, the arrangement shown in Fig. 3 is placed in a thermoset mold and the electrical circuit 4 is encapsulated with thermoset. The resulting composite of the inner core 3 of thermoset, the circuit 4 and the outer shell 2 made of thermoplastic as a result of the manufacturing process is shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2.
The outer shell 2 gives the advantage of a good resistance to mechanical stresses on the housing cover 1, which is usually arranged in the outer region of vehicles.
The inner core 3 encloses and protects the electrical circuit arrangement 4.
Duroplast has good thermal conductivity.
This results in the advantage of good heat dissipation via the inner core 3.
Furthermore, results between the inner core 3 made of thermosetting plastic, the electrical connection element 6 and the contacting element 7, a molecular and thus dense connection. A molecular and thus dense connection is also achieved between the outer shell 2 and the inner core 3.
It is thereby achieved the advantage that can be dispensed with a complex seal.
